About the Partnership with the Diocese of Westminster

Aquinas Education have agreed a significant partnership with the Diocese of Westminster.

We are now officially working in partnership with the Diocese of Westminster to support their 207 schools in meeting their recruitment needs across London and the Home Counties.

The Aquinas Foundation, established by our Managing Director Jermaine Jenas, is also working closely alongside the Diocese to provide support to students, staff, and communities in these fantastic schools. Through the Aquinas Foundation, we are offering assistance to teachers and communities to promote academic achievement and attendance, as well as boosting the morale of students and staff.

What is the Diocese of Westminster?

The Diocese of Westminster is comprised of 212 parishes and 207 schools located in the London boroughs North of the River Thames, West of the Lea River and in the County of Hertfordshire.

The Education Service of the Diocese plays a crucial role in supporting these schools to ensure their success, whilst upholding the Trust Deed of the Diocese. They offer valuable guidance on a wide range of educational matters and place great value on strong partnerships, including the support provided by the Catholic Education Service. Aquinas Education is excited to be working alongside the Diocese to provide support to these schools, students, and staff.

The Diocese of Westminster emphasises the importance of strong partnerships and the significant role that Catholic schools and colleges play in the mission of the Catholic Church. Their Diocesan schools make a substantial contribution to education in London, Hertfordshire, and Surrey, with the aim of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to future generations.

Aquinas Education shares these beliefs and strongly promotes ambition within schools and educational environments. Our name, inspired by Saint Thomas Aquinas, the Patron Saint of Education, reflects our commitment to education. Our ethos aligns with many Catholic Schools across England and we are proud of have some beautiful relationships with these schools. We have also worked hard at developing unique relationships with Catholic Universities in Ireland, working closely with their education students on the opportunities they have in Catholic Schools within England.

Training and CPD within the Diocese of Westminster and Aquinas Education

One core value we share with The Diocese of Westminster is in the power of training. For us, training allows our team to get better at what they do every day. We offer all of our teaching, TA and support team ongoing training to help you become better within your own role but also prepare you for progression.
