Education Recruitment Jobs - The role
When it comes to finding a job in education recruitment, Aquinas Education think a little differently to others. Firstly, you will be fully trained over several months ensuring you are equipped with the skill set to assist you in your recruitment role although we like to offer you some flexibility to make sure you have the best chance to shine.
Some individuals may progress quicker than others.
Unlike other recruitment jobs, this role is as much about managing the teachers you have recruited, as it is finding them in the first place. You build up real rapport with the team you build and you will help shape their careers, whilst growing yours at the same time.
The Role will consist of:
- Resourcing teachers and teaching assistants for job roles in current schools
- Searching jobs sites for CVs
- Utilising the company database to recruit candidates
- Writing job adverts to attract candidates
- Face to face interviewing 10 candidates per weeks in the office and off-site on registration days (travel paid for)
- Liaising with the consultants to ensure these candidates are placed out to work
- Writing candidate profiles – this will persist once you are confident to move to the next stage where you will then begin your client training
- Visiting schools with colleagues
- Writing effective job adverts to attract candidates for live vacancies
- Attending exhibitions and events
- Positive marketing of candidates
- Client business development

As well as having knowledge of special needs and/or education is an advantage, it’s not essential as full sector training will be provided.
