Introduction:

Aquinas Education is working with a primary school in Brighton & Hove who are seeking a cover supervisor to join their team on an ongoing basis, with a view to gaining QTS through the assessment-only route.

Cover supervisor for a primary school in Brighton & Hove.

Aquinas Education is looking for a cover supervisor to work within one of our primary schools in Brighton & Hove.

You will work closely with class teachers and other support staff to ensure a smooth delivery of lessons within different classes, as well as supporting pupils in small groups and on an individual basis to boost their learning. You will also:

• Assist children who need additional support to complete tasks and access learning within the classroom.
• Support class teachers in breaking down learning for pupils with additional needs and help them understand and complete tasks.
• Supervise group activities and lead smaller intervention learning groups.
• Lead the delivery of tasks to the whole class with the support of the teacher.
• Motivating and helping pupils with SEN needs to achieve their full potential

Although direct school experience is not required, you must have a willingness and passion for supporting pupils in a learning environment.
