Job Description:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring the continuity of education in the absence of the regular class teacher. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and managing a classroom of students in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining order within the classroom.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- Providing support and assistance to students with their learning activities.
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the school leadership team as necessary.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent classroom management abilities.
- Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced educational environment.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of student behaviour and achievement.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus, but not mandatory.
