Aquinas Education is actively working with a lovely primary school in Enfield, North London seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support them on a full-time basis within the early years.

Early Years SEN Teaching Assistants for a primary school in Enfield, North London.

Aquinas Education is looking for Early Years SEN Teaching Assistants to work in one of our primary schools in Enfield, supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs including Autism (ASD), Speech and Language Difficulties (Sp&LD), and Learning Difficulties.

You will provide high-quality service support to pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with SEN Needs. Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks and access learning within the classroom.
  • Supporting teachers in breaking down learning for pupils with SEN needs and helping them understand tasks.
  • Supervising group activities, and leading smaller learning groups.
  • Working on a 1:1 basis with pupils who need extra help and support.
  • Motivating and helping pupils with SEN needs to achieve their full potential

You should have previous experience working within a school environment, or some understanding of working with children.
