In their quest for an exceptional Geography Teacher, the school envisions a candidate who will play a crucial role in shaping the academic development of secondary school students. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering captivating and comprehensive Geography lessons up to Key Stage 4/5.
• Cultivating a passion for geographical understanding and critical thinking.
• Collaborating with colleagues to integrate Geography seamlessly into the broader school curriculum.

Additional Department Information:

The Geography Department is actively seeking well-qualified and passionate Geographers to join their collaborative team. The ideal candidate will:

• Work collaboratively to deliver engaging experiences to all students.
• Teach Geography as a single subject throughout KS3 and as a very popular option at KS4 and KS5 (Edexcel).
• Contribute to the delivery of an engaging and relevant Geography curriculum.
• Offer high-quality fieldwork opportunities to all students.

Skills and Experience Required:

The school is seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and attributes:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Specialisation or proven experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level.
• A passion for encouraging curiosity and understanding of the world.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
• Dedication to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
