Brief Summary:

Aquinas Education is looking for a full-time Nursery Assistant to work in a mainstream primary after October half term.

Job Description:

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our nursery team in providing a caring and educational setting for our young learners. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities.
  • Creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore and learn.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and social skills.
  • Providing individualized attention to children's needs.
  • Supporting with daily routines, including meals and naps.
  • Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

  • Minimum of a Level 2 or 3 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification.
  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Passion for early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a caring nature.
