Qualifications or experiences: Previous school-based experience is ideal, however working with children in other settings is also desirable.

Aquinas Education are actively working with primary schools who are seeking flexible Teaching Assistants to support them on an ongoing basis.

About the role:

Flexible Teaching Assistants for primary schools in Redhill / Reigate & surrounding area.

Aquinas Education are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in a number of primary schools, supporting pupils across all ages from early years to key stage 2.

You will provide a high-quality service of support to pupils, and classroom assistance to members of the wider school community. Your responsibilities will include:

• Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks.
• Supporting teachers in lesson delivery and managing classroom behaviour.
• Supervising group activities, and leading smaller learning groups.
• Getting the classroom ready for lessons and keeping it clean and tidy for the next day.
• Helping teachers to plan learning activities and carrying out additional administrative tasks.

You should have previous experience working within a school environment, or some understanding of working with children.
