I applied through a job advert I saw on LinkedIn and was offered an interview right away, then began training and started a few weeks later.
I’ve always been interested in recruitment and saw the opportunity and took it. I love the role and the work that goes into it, it interests me.
The role is something new to me, and it has always interested me and I wanted to experience the field. So far it's more than I expected in a good way, and I enjoy working in eduction recruitment.
It is even better than I expected, I love the detail and work that goes into the role, as I love jobs which push me to seek further than I thought I could, and it inspires me to work harder.
I love the challenges that come with the role, and targets and goals that need to be reached. It pushes you further and progresses yourself to work harder. I know I can always achieve more than I thought I could.
It can be a challenge sometimes to get goals and tasks completed, when things may slow you down, whether it is waiting for candidates documents, or if you aren’t getting outcomes as well as you should.
I’ve had different types of training with consultancy, finance, clearances, bookings, recruitment, etc. It is best to get training in as many areas as possible even if that may not be my area of expertise, as it helps me progress.
I want to progress as much as possible, I was to further myself into the field and meet with Schools and have my own bookings and special connections with candidates and Schools so I can be more senior and managing a bigger role this time next year.
Yes! It is such a good job, in fact it's the best job I have had. I love working for the company as they care for me and support me. The staff are amazing to work with, and the work itself is challenging and enjoyable to me, so I would always recommend it to anyone.
I think you need drive and focus. It is easy to know what you are doing, but you have to want to work, and want to succeed which I absolutely do. I love the support I get and I feel driven to work and progress further.
